Lotta Antonsson is an artist whose work includes collecting as an artistic material.
Her work consists photography, collages and sculptural installations that are often related to social, political and artistic movements throughout the 1960s and 1970s. She compiles photographic materiality with appropriated articles, magazines, books to reinterpret history.
In earlier photographic works Lotta Antonsson have often assumed pre-existing image models through a clear gender-conscious artistic method processed and edited to works, that revolves around concepts such as identity and representation.
